AbstractWe prove several fixed point theorems on cone metric spaces in which the
cone does not need to be normal. These theorems generalize the recent results of
Huang and Zhang (2007), Abbas and Jungck (2008), and Vetro (2007). Furthermore
as corollaries, we obtain recent results of Rezapour and Hamlborani (2008).
In the article first we introduce a new notion of soft element of a soft set and
establish its natural relation with soft operations and soft objects in soft
topological spaces. Next, using the notion of soft element, we define, in a
different way than in the literature, a soft mapping transforming a soft set
into a soft set and provide basic properties of such mappings. The new approach
to soft m... hiện toàn bộ
AbstractWe discuss the newly introduced concept of cone metric spaces. We also
discuss the fixed point existence results of contractive mappings defined on
such metric spaces. In particular, we show that most of the new results are
merely copies of the classical ones.
AbstractWe introduce a new concept of generalized metric spaces for which we
extend some well-known fixed point results including Banach contraction
principle, Ćirić’s fixed point theorem, a fixed point result due to Ran and
Reurings, and a fixed point result due to Nieto and Rodríguez-López. This new
concept of generalized metric spaces recover various topological spaces
including standard metric... hiện toàn bộ
AbstractWe introduce a new class of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and
study approximating methods for finding their fixed points. We deal with the
Krasnosel'skii-Mann-type iterative process. The strong and weak convergence
results for self-mappings in normed spaces are presented. We also consider the
asymptotically weakly contractive mappings.
AbstractIn this manuscript, a class of self-mappings on cone Banach spaces which
have at least one fixed point is considered. More precisely, for a closed and
convex subset "Equation missing" of a cone Banach space with the norm "Equation
missing", if there exist "Equation missing", "Equation missing", "Equation
missing" and "Equation missing" satisfies the conditions "Equation missing" and
"Equat... hiện toàn bộ
AbstractWe give some new definitions of "Equation missing"-metric spaces and we
prove a common fixed point theorem for a class of mappings under the condition
of weakly commuting mappings in complete "Equation missing"-metric spaces. We
get some improved versions of several fixed point theorems in complete "Equation
missing"-metric spaces.
Abstract Self-adaptive methods which permit step-sizes being selected
self-adaptively are effective methods for solving some important problems, e.g.,
variational inequality problems. We devote this paper to developing and
improving the self-adaptive methods for solving the split feasibility problem. A
new improved self-adaptive method is introduced for solving the split
feasibility problem. As a ... hiện toàn bộ
