Itô geometryJapanese Journal of Mathematics - - 2007
Daniel W. Stroock
This note provides a very brief outline of the ideas from which Itô’s theory of stochastic integral equations derive. The emphasis on the ideas rather than the technical details required to implement them.
Apollonian circle packings: dynamics and number theoryJapanese Journal of Mathematics - Tập 9 - Trang 69-97 - 2014
Hee Oh
We give an overview of various counting problems for Apollonian circle packings, which turn out to be related to problems in dynamics and number theory for thin groups. This survey article is an expanded version of my lecture notes prepared for the 13th Takagi Lectures given at RIMS, Kyoto in the fall of 2013.
Some penalisations of the Wiener measureJapanese Journal of Mathematics - Tập 1 - Trang 263-290 - 2006
B. Roynette, P. Vallois, M. Yor
A number of limit laws, which are obtained from various penalisations of the Wiener measure on
$$C \left(\mathbb{R}_{+}, \mathbb{R}^{d}\right),$$
are shown to exist, and are described thoroughly, with the help of path decompositions.
Recollections of K. Itô and Kyoto 1957/58Japanese Journal of Mathematics - Tập 2 - Trang 79-81 - 2007
Henry McKean
This paper recollects the author’s encounter with Itô in Princeton 1954 and their collaboration on diffusion process and their sample path.
Geometric structure in smooth dual and local Langlands conjectureJapanese Journal of Mathematics - Tập 9 - Trang 99-136 - 2014
Anne-Marie Aubert, Paul Baum, Roger Plymen, Maarten Solleveld
This expository paper first reviews some basic facts about p-adic fields, reductive p-adic groups, and the local Langlands conjecture. If G is a reductive p-adic group, then the smooth dual of G is the set of equivalence classes of smooth irreducible representations of G. The representations are on vector spaces over the complex numbers. In a canonical way, the smooth dual is the disjoint union of...... hiện toàn bộ
