AbstractEffective public health communication is needed to increase COVID-19
vaccination uptake in sub-Saharan Africa. We present six best practices: (1) use
of collective action/altruism, (2) use of relatable language, (3) tailoring
messages, (4) use of gain-framed messages, (5) use of trusted messengers and (6)
