The novel work for this study is to make new films for the pure and doped PVC with organosilane; thus, it used organosilane moieties (25 mg) mixed with poly(vinyl chloride) (5 g). Thus drop-casting procedure was utilized to make these thin films. The pure PVC and PVC-organosilane (Si-L-NO2/PVC called SI and Si-L-Br called SII) optical properties were studied under the wavelength range from (250 to...... hiện toàn bộ
Multi-objective particle swarm optimization on ultra-thin silicon solar cellsSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 49 - Trang 446-454 - 2020

Finding optimized parameters for any photonic device is a challenging problem, because as the search space enlarges the computation time and design complexity increase. For higher performance solar cells, various studies have been carried out to procure optimized parameters, to attain better performance and low cost as well. In this study, we used a multi-objective particle swarm optimization appr...... hiện toàn bộ
All optical switching and associated technologies: a reviewSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 47 - Trang 307-317 - 2018
V. Sasikala, K. Chitra
Optical computation is the most desirable technology that enhances the speed, data transmission rate and processing power by replacing the electronics with the optical switches. Optical switching is efficiently performed in high speed signal processing by all optical gates. This paper reviews the progressive development of the optical switching technology, highlights the different technologies of ...... hiện toàn bộ
Inhomogeneity of Thin Films of Cadmium SulphideSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 10 - Trang 35-36 - 1981

Spectral dependences of the transmittance carried out at normal incidence at room temperature, for CdS thin films, at wavelengths longer than the absorption edge were used to indicate the inhomogeneity of such films. The refractive indices n1′ and n1″ for the CdS layers adjacent to air and to glass substrate were also determined respectively. These values have not been determined before.
Performance investigation of hybrid optical amplifiers for high-speed optical networksSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 49 - Trang 298-304 - 2020
Amit Wason, Deepak Malik
The development of lightwave systems required large capacity communication networks in today’s high-tech era. To fulfill these challenges required proper amplification of the signals. Hybrid optical amplifier made a remarkable change in present optical networks in order to amplify the signals for better performance of a system. In this paper, we have proposed different hybrid optical amplifier con...... hiện toàn bộ
A rapid qualitative analytical method based on the ultraviolet spectrum of the crude oilSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 52 - Trang 1286-1295 - 2022

The qualitative detection of crude oil is the key link in dealing with oil leakage accidents. However, as a result, the absence of quick and effective methods to detect the oil spills, it is still difficult to track and hold accountable of perpetrator. The present study proposed a rapid analytical method for oil spills detection based on its optical properties, which has been similarly used in rap...... hiện toàn bộ
