The total reaction cross section (1724 ± 93 mb) of 17B at the energy of 43.7 A
MeV on C target has been measured by using the transmission method at the
Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou (RIBLL). Assuming 17B consists of a core
15B plus two halo neutrons, the total cross section of 17B on C target was
calculated with the zero-range Glauber model, where double Gaussian density
distributions and ... hiện toàn bộ
Dynamic behavior of micro-diaphragms and its characterized descriptionSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 52 - Trang 1345-1356 - 2009
LiFeng Ge
Diaphragm structures with micron scale play a significant role in
microtransducers and micro-nano devices, and the performance of these devices
depends mainly on the dynamic behaviour of diaphragms. Micro-diaphragms are
treated commonly as membranes and in some cases as plates or plates in tension
(called TD plates for short), but they also show in many cases the behaviour of
plates in tension and... hiện toàn bộ
Post-Newtonian perturbed theory of elastic astronomical bodies in rotating spherical coordinatesSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 46 - Trang 307-320 - 2003
Xuejun Wu, Chongming Xu, Soffel Michael
In this paper the dynamical equations for an elastic deformable body in the
first post-Newtonian approximation of Einstein theory of gravity are derived in
rotating spherical coordinates. The unperturbed rotating body (the relaxed
ground state) is described as uniformly rotating, stationary and axisymmetric
configuration in an asymptotically flat space-time manifold. Deviations from the
equilibriu... hiện toàn bộ
Transverse coupling and dynamics of patterns in a photorefractive oscillatorSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 46 - Trang 214-224 - 2003
Xu Jiong, Zhuang Jun, Zhao Li, Li Yufen, Li Fuming
The effect of transverse coupling in a photorefractive oscillator is studied.
From the study the condition for stable optical patterns of multimode
oscillation is given analytically and verified by numerical simulation. Under
the stable condition, the period-doubling route to spatiotemporal chaos is
observed.
Discovery of a high confidence soft lag from an X-ray flare of Markarian 421Springer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 53 - Trang 224-227 - 2010
YouHong Zhang, ZhengTian Hou, Li Shao, Peng Zhang
We present the X-ray variability properties of the X-ray and TeV bright blazar
Mrk 421 with a ∼60 ks long XMM-Newton observation performed on November 9–10,
2005. The source experienced a pronounced flare, of which the inter-band time
lags were determined with a very high confidence level. The soft (0.6–0.8 keV)
X-ray variations lagged the hard (4–10 keV) ones by 1.09 −0.12 +0.11 ks, and the
soft ... hiện toàn bộ
Rotation effect on near-wall turbulence statistics and flow structuresSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 48 - Trang 211-227 - 2016
Nansheng Liu, Xiyun Lu, Lixian Zhuang
Large eddy simulation (LES) of turbulent flow through an axially rotating pipe,
coupled with nonlinear dynamic subgrid-scale (SGS) model, is carried out to
investigate rotation effect on the near-wall turbulence characteristics and flow
structures. In the rotating turbulent pipe flow, it is found that the tendency
towards a relaminarized flow appears and the axial velocity fluctuation is
suppresse... hiện toàn bộ
Numerical study of point spread function of a fast neutron radiography system based on scintillating-fiber arraySpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 50 - Trang 698-706 - 2007

For a scintillating-fiber array fast-neutron radiography system, a
point-spread-function computing model was introduced, and the simulation code
was developed. The results of calculation show that fast-neutron radiographs
vary with the size of fast neutron sources, the size of fiber cross-section and
the imaging geometry. The results suggest that the following qualifications are
helpful for a good... hiện toàn bộ
