The low-energy structures of the radioactive nuclei 20, 21Na have been examined using Coulomb excitation at the TRIUMF-ISAC radioactive ion beam facility. Beams of ∼ 5×106 ions/s were accelerated to 1.7MeV/A and Coulomb excited in a 0.5mg/cm^2 natTi target. Two TIGRESS HPGe clover detectors perpendicular to the beam axis were used for

The successful operation of AGATA requires a complex mechanical support structure for the safe and reliable operation of the detectors. Three mechanical structures were designed for the scientific campaigns at LNL, GSI and GANIL, each accommodating an increasing number of detectors. The present phase of the project, to increase the number of detectors from 60 to 180 (the

Neutron pick-up in the 55Mn(d, t)54Mn reactionSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 54 - Trang 1-10 - 2018
E. N. Cardozo, M. J. Ermamatov, J. L. Ferreira, B. Paes, M. Sinha, J. Lubian
In this paper, we analyze the one-neutron pick-up from the 55Mn target when it is bombarded by 17MeV deuteron, by performing coupled reaction channel (CRC) calculations. Spectroscopic amplitudes for CRC calculations, and structural information such as reduced B(E2) transition probabilities, quadrupole, and magnetic momenta, are obtained from shell-model calculations using the fp-kb3 interaction. Isospin symmetry breaking in ρ→πγ decaySpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 14 Số 2 - Trang 219-224 - 2002
Wang, X.-J., Jiang, J.-H., Yan, M.-L.
In terms of effective field theory and mixed-propagator approach, we show that there is a larger hidden effect of isospin breaking in ρ→πγ decay due to a ω exchange, ρ→ω→πγ. The branching ratio is predicted as B(ρ→πγ) = (11.67±2.0)×10-4, which is much larger than Particle Data Group's datum (6.8±1.7)×10-4 and one of charged mode, B(ρ±→π±γ) = (4.5±0.5)×10-4.
