In this project, O3 process was used for degradation and mineralization of 50 mg L–1 of 2-nitrophenol (2NP) in a semi batch reactor under variable dosage of ozone and pH. Ozonation was performed at the pH of 3, 5, 7, and 9. After 20 min of treatment, the amount of degradation was 99.8% at pH 9 compared to 90, 82.7, and 70.5% at pH 7, 5, and 3, respectively. Reactions occuring in mixtures of polyacrylonitrile with fullerene C6 0 at 20-1000°C were studied by thermal analysis. The greatest thermal effects were observed in diffusion-controlled reactions of anionic polyacrylonitrile with fullerene. Carbonizate is formed with the yield of about 60%, which is of practical interest.

The possibility of obtaining cycloalkyldecalins by the alkylation of 1–and 2–methylnaphthalenes by cycloolefins with subsequent hydrogenation of methylcycloalkylnaphthalenes was studied. Physicochemical parameters of reaction products were determined, and their structure was defined on the basis of IR and NMR spectra.
