Novel Gold Catalysts for the Oxidation of Carbon Monoxide at a Temperature far Below 0 °C Tập 16 Số 2 - Trang 405-408 - 1987
Masatake Haruta, Tetsuhiko Kobayashi, Hiroshi Sano, Nobumasa Yamada
Abstract A variety of gold catalysts can be used to catalyze the oxidation of
carbon monoxide at temperatures as low as −70 °C and are stable in a moistened
gas atmosphere. The novel catalysts, prepared by coprecipitation, are composed
of ultra-fine gold particles and one of the oxides of 3d transition metals of
group VIII, namely, Fe, Co, and Ni.
Layered Lithium Insertion Material of LiCo1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3O2 for Lithium-Ion Batteries Tập 30 Số 7 - Trang 642-643 - 2001
Tsutomu Ohzuku, Yoshinari Makimura
Abstract Layered LiCo1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3O2 was prepared by a solid state reaction at
1000 °C in air and examined in nonaqueous lithium cells. LiCo1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3O2
showed a rechargeable capacity of 150 mAh g−1 in 3.5–4.2 V or 200 mAh g−1 in
3.5–5.0 V. Operating voltage of Li / LiCo1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3O2 was by 0.2–0.25 V lower
than that of a cell with LiCoO2 or LiMn2O4 and by 0.15–0.3 V higher than that
with LiN... hiện toàn bộ
Carbon-doped Anatase TiO2 Powders as a Visible-light Sensitive Photocatalyst Tập 32 Số 8 - Trang 772-773 - 2003
Hiroshi Irie, Yuka Watanabe, Kazuhito Hashimoto
Abstract Carbon-doped TiO2 powders in an anatase phase colored yellow were
fabricated by oxidative annealing of TiC. Carbons were located at oxygen sites.
The carbon substitution caused the absorbance edge of TiO2 to be shifted to the
higher wavelength region. Carbon-doped TiO2 showed photocatalytic activities for
the decomposition of IPA to CO2 via acetone under visible light (400–530 nm)
irradia... hiện toàn bộ
Photocatalytic Activity of S-doped TiO2 Photocatalyst under Visible Light Tập 32 Số 4 - Trang 364-365 - 2003
Teruhisa Ohno, Takahiro Mitsui, Michio Matsumura
Abstract In order to effectively utilize visible light in photocatalytic
reactions, we have developed S-doped TiO2 particles. They show strong absorption
for visible light and high activities for degradation of methylene blue in
aqueous solution under irradiation at wavelengths longer than 440 nm. The
oxidation state of the S atoms incorporated into the TiO2 particles is
determined to be S6+ from ... hiện toàn bộ
OXYGEN PERMEATION THROUGH PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDES Tập 14 Số 11 - Trang 1743-1746 - 1985
Yasutake Teraoka, Huamin Zhang, Shinya Furukawa, Noboru Yamazoe
Abstract The rate of oxygen permeation through La1−xSrxCo1−yFeyO3−δ was found to
increase with an increase in Sr or Co content, showing that the permeability was
mainly controlled by the amount of oxygen vacancies. The results obtained
indicate that mixed conductive perovskite-type oxides are promising materials
for oxygen permeation at elevated temperatures.
Discovery of a Magnetic Ionic Liquid [bmim]FeCl4 Tập 33 Số 12 - Trang 1590-1591 - 2004
Satoshi Hayashi, Hiro‐o Hamaguchi
Abstract A magnetic ionic liquid, which shows a strong response to magnetic
field, has been discovered. We synthesized an ionic liquid by mixing
1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([bmim]Cl) and FeCl3, in anticipation of
unique magnetic properties due to the possible local ordering of the magnetic
anions. The visible absorption spectroscopy has shown that this liquid contains
the high spin FeCl4... hiện toàn bộ
Highly Luminescent Lead Bromide Perovskite Nanoparticles Synthesized with Porous Alumina Media Tập 41 Số 4 - Trang 397-399 - 2012
Akihiro Kojima, M. Ikegami, Kenjiro Teshima, Tsutomu Miyasaka
Abstract Nanocrystalline lead bromide perovskite was synthesized by rapid
self-organization on a mesoporous aluminum oxide film. With UV excitation, the
film exhibited an intense green emission with a narrow bandwidth. The
photoluminescence intensity is optimized for the conditions of synthesis and the
kind of metal oxide.
Formation of Titania Nanotubes with High Photo-Catalytic Activity Tập 29 Số 8 - Trang 942-943 - 2000
Motonari Adachi, Yusuke Murata, Makoto Harada, Susumu Yoshikawa
Abstract Titania nanotubes with high photo-catalytic activity were synthesized
in laurylamine hydrochloride / tetraisopropyl orthotitanate modified with
acetylacetone system. Formation of nanotubes was confirmed by transmission
electron microscope images. These titania nanotubes had crystal structure of
anatase and showed high photo-catalytic activity, i.e., the activity is about
three times highe... hiện toàn bộ
