Biocompatibility: Nanomaterials for cell- and tissue engineering Tập 1 - Trang 308-309 - 2005
M. O. Riehle
The reaction of cells to varying topographic surfaces has been investigated ever
since the beginnings of cell culture technology, as these features influence the
cells principle behaviours such as adhesion, spreading, morphology, motility and
proliferation. Interest in this aspect of cell biology was renewed when advanced
fabrication methods became more widespread. This paper tries to briefly
summ... hiện toàn bộ
Basulin, a long-acting formulation of human insulin based on medusa nanoparticles Tập 1 - Trang 317-318 - 2005
You-Ping Chan, Rémi Meyrueix, Roger Kravtzoff, Olivier Soula, Gérard Soula
• Basulin® is the only once-a-day human insulin with a proof of efficacy in
human clinical trials. • Basulin has demonstrated a good safety and tolerability
and confirmed the 24 hours efficacy in Phase IIa during 14 days with 20
patients. • Basulin maintains the full activity of human insulin as a human
growth hormone essential to reduce long-term complications associated with the
lack of insulin ... hiện toàn bộ
Electrochemical properties of heme-protein in lauric acid films and its application as a biosensor Tập 2 - Trang 67-70 - 2006
A. K. M. Kafi, Dong-Yun Lee, Sang-Hyun Park, Young-Soo Kwon
In this research, the enhancement of electron-transfer activity of hemoglobin
(Hb) in lauric acid film was investigated for the first time. This type of
composite film was made on a glassy carbon electrode by a casting method. Cyclic
voltammetric result of the modified electrode displays a well-defined redox
peak, which was attributed to the direct electrochemical response of Hb. Our
results illus... hiện toàn bộ
