Specific Features of Island Soil Formation (by the Example of Islands of the Northwest Pacific)Moscow University Soil Science Bulletin - Tập 75 - Trang 61-66 - 2020
A.N. Ivanov, A.V. Ivanov
Soils of the Northwest Pacific, differing from continental soils, have been
characterized on the basis of published data. It has been revealed that the
climatic factor plays a great role in their formation. This is related to the
precipitation amount, regime, and intensity, as well as to heat supply
determined not only by insolation, but also by the wind regime and the presence
of warm and cold cu... hiện toàn bộ
Bentonite variations in a peaty-podzolic-gleyish soil under the field model experiment conditionsMoscow University Soil Science Bulletin - Tập 68 - Trang 104-115 - 2013
T. A. Sokolova, I. I. Tolpeshta, I. V. Topunova
Changes in bentonite were estimated after having kept it in hor. T2, H, Eih, and
E of peaty-podzolic-gleyish (PPG) soil for 1, 3, and 5 years as part of a model
field experiment. In the first variant, when montmorillonite is heated at 350°C,
its X-ray patterns demonstrate a diffuse scattering (1.0–1.4 nm), which is
probably due to the formation of the brucite layer fragments in the interpacket
gap... hiện toàn bộ
The Effect of 24-Epibrassinolide and Its Products on the Content of Total, Protein, and Nitrate Nitrogen in PlantsMoscow University Soil Science Bulletin - Tập 73 - Trang 217-222 - 2019
L. P. Voronina, N. N. Malevannaya
The efficiency of exogenic 24-epibrassinolide and its products (Epin and
Epin-Extra) has been studied. Parallel to an increase in crop productivity (root
crops and potatoes in field experiments and barley in vegetation experiment),
they exert a favorable effect on the quality of plant production. The vegetation
experiment with barley has shown a positive impact of epibrassinolide on the
synthesis ... hiện toàn bộ
Rheological features of the coagulative structure of northern taiga peaty podzolic semi-gley soils of the European NortheastMoscow University Soil Science Bulletin - Tập 69 - Trang 17-22 - 2014
D. D. Khaydapova, Yu. V. Kholopov, I. V. Zaboeva, E. M. Lapteva
The results of rheological studies using a MCR 302 modular research rheometer of
soil pastes of northern taiga peaty podzolic semi-gley soils are presented. It
was found that their coagulative structure has weak structural links. They are
little resistant to mechanical stress and their stability decreases in the
direction from the northern to the extreme northern taiga by about two times.

Sola Incognita: Unsolved Problems of Genetic Soil ScienceMoscow University Soil Science Bulletin - Tập 78 - Trang 319-326 - 2023
P. V. Krasilnikov
For the anniversary of the Faculty of Soil Science of Moscow State University,
the author considers the issues remaining unresolved in the field of classical
pedology over the past half century and offers a list of problems that will
require solutions in the near future. It is noted that, against the background
of a decreased interest in pedogenetic studies, challenges are accumulating in
related ... hiện toàn bộ
