Lôgic Thời Gian Nhánh Tham Chiếu Lặp Lại Đến Các Trạng Thái Dịch bởi AI
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 18 - Trang 593-624 - 2009
Volker Weber

Interactive Semantic Alignment Model: Social Influence and Local Transmission Bottleneck
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 27 - Trang 225-253 - 2018
Dariusz Kalociński, Marcin Mostowski, Nina Gierasimczuk
We provide a computational model of semantic alignment among communicating agents constrained by social and cognitive pressures. We use our model to analyze the effects of social stratification and a local transmission bottleneck on the coordination of meaning in isolated dyads. The analysis suggests that the traditional approach to learning—understood as inferring prescribed meaning from observat...... hiện toàn bộ

A Class of Conceptual Spaces Consisting of Boundaries of Infinite p-Ary Trees
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 28 - Trang 73-95 - 2018
Roman Urban, Simona Mróz
A new construction of a certain conceptual space is presented. Elements of this conceptual space correspond to (and serve as code for) concept elements of reality, which potentially comprise an infinite number of qualities. This construction of a conceptual space solves a problem stated by Dietz and his co-authors in 2013 in the context of Voronoi diagrams. The fractal construction of the conceptu...... hiện toàn bộ
Symmetry in Polyadic Inductive Logic
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 21 - Trang 189-216 - 2011
J. B. Paris, A. Vencovská
A family of symmetries of polyadic inductive logic are described which in turn give rise to the purportedly rational Permutation Invariance Principle stating that a rational assignment of probabilities should respect these symmetries. An equivalent, and more practical, version of this principle is then derived.
A Computational Algebraic Analysis of Hindi Syntax
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 32 - Trang 759-776 - 2023
Alok Debanth, Manish Shrivastava
In this paper, we present a computational algebraic representation of Hindi syntax. This paper is the first attempt to establish the representation of various facets of Hindi syntax into algebra, including dual nominative/ergative behavior, a syntacto-semantic case system and complex agreement rules between the noun and verb phrase. Using the pregroup analysis framework, we show how we represent m...... hiện toàn bộ
First-Order Glue
Journal of Logic, Language and Information - Tập 17 - Trang 43-68 - 2007
Miltiadis Kokkonidis
Glue has evolved significantly during the past decade. Although the recent move to type-theoretic notation was a step in the right direction, basing the current Glue system on System F (second-order λ-calculus) was an unfortunate choice. An extension to two sorts and ad hoc restrictions were necessary to avoid inappropriate composition of meanings. As a result, the current system is unnecessarily ...... hiện toàn bộ
