Điều trị bệnh nhân cao tuổi mắc ung thư đường tiết niệu giai đoạn tiến triển
Tóm tắt
Việc điều trị các loại ung thư đường tiết niệu giai đoạn tiến triển đã tiến triển đáng kể trong thập kỷ qua. Khi tỷ lệ mắc các loại ung thư này ngày càng gia tăng theo độ tuổi, các bác sĩ chuyên khoa ung thư đường tiết niệu đang phải đối mặt với thách thức ngày càng lớn trong việc lựa chọn các chiến lược điều trị tối ưu cho bệnh nhân cao tuổi. Các bệnh đồng mắc ảnh hưởng đến điều trị ung thư có thể được xác định thông qua các công cụ đánh giá lão khoa, các công cụ này nên được áp dụng cho bệnh nhân ung thư cao tuổi trước khi bắt đầu liệu pháp điều trị. Việc sử dụng các công cụ này giúp đánh giá các rủi ro cạnh tranh về bệnh tật và tử vong.
