Tóm tắt

Các trầm tích ướt của một hồ chứa nước trước đây đã được phát hiện trong một cuộc khai quật cứu hộ khảo cổ học. Nghiên cứu đã được thực hiện để tìm hiểu về sự thay đổi thảm thực vật và môi trường đang diễn ra tại các vùng ngoại ô trung cổ của Praha, Cộng hòa Séc, từ thế kỷ thứ mười đến giữa thế kỷ thứ mười bốn. Nguồn gốc và chức năng của hồ chứa nước được làm sáng tỏ thông qua một phương pháp đa chỉ tiêu kết hợp các kết quả phân tích đại hóa thạch, phấn hoa, diatom, antracologie, khảo cổ học động vật và phân tích trầm tích. Những thay đổi dần dần của thảm thực vật xung quanh đã được ghi nhận. Các chỉ số trên thực địa đã gia tăng theo thời gian, trong khi tỷ lệ cây gỗ rộng lá và bụi rậm giảm đi; tỷ lệ thực vật phát triển trên đất bỏ hoang thì gia tăng liên tục. Sự suy giảm dần dần của thảm thực vật ưa ẩm bán tự nhiên đi kèm với một xu hướng ngược lại trong thảm thực vật bị dẫm nát. Tất cả các xu hướng này chỉ ra sự gia tăng hoạt động của con người xung quanh hồ. Một sự gia tăng tương tự về ảnh hưởng nhân tạo rõ ràng được nhìn thấy trong sự phát triển của môi trường nước. Theo sự phân bố của diatom, phần đáy của hồ sơ là kết quả của quá trình lắng đọng trong điều kiện oligotrophic đáng kể. Một sự suy giảm liên tục của chất lượng nước đã được ghi nhận qua nhiều loại sinh vật (diatom, tảo xanh, thực vật thủy sinh, cá và ký sinh trùng đường ruột). Hàm lượng dinh dưỡng hòa tan cao, có thể liên quan đến tình trạng thiếu oxy, có thể đã gây ra sự biến mất của cả diatom và cá.
