Tóm tắt

Experiments were conducted during the years 1959–1965 in two regions in Czechoslovakia. The first was mountainous with a damp, cool climate very suitable for the development of wart disease; the second was low ground with a subarid, warmer climate not so suitable for the development of the disease. In this latter area plots were grown under irrigation. The results showed that the soil types associated with the subarid region were less suitable for the pathogen than those associated with the damp, cool region.
