Bài báo này trình bày kết quả của một nghiên cứu về sinh học của loài cá Okhotsk fringed sculpin Porocottus minutus (Pallas, 1814) từ Vịnh Taui, Biển Okhotsk. Loài này, tương đối phong phú, đã được phát hiện sống lén lút trong khu vực lấn biển có đáy được tạo thành từ trầm tích đá vừa, ưa thích các khu vực có nước ấm, và có chiều dài cơ thể đạt 110,0 mm, trọng lượng cơ thể 16,8 g, và độ tuổi 4+ năm. Các đặc điểm về kích thước và độ tuổi tương tự nhau giữa hai giới. Đối tượng thức ăn chính của loài cá Okhotsk fringed sculpin là các loài giáp xác amphipod.
