Chúng tôi đã đánh giá trạng thái của các tập hợp bọ rùa bản địa trong sự hiện diện của bọ rùa không bản địa Harmonia axyridis Pallas (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) ở ba nước Châu Âu. Để đạt được điều này, chúng tôi đã đánh giá mật độ bọ rùa từ các loài thực vật ký chủ phổ biến trong các khu vực đô thị của Vương quốc Anh, Cộng hòa Séc và Cộng hòa Slovakia vào năm 2014. Chúng tôi đã xác định (i) các yếu tố ảnh hưởng của mùa, thực vật ký chủ, địa điểm, mật độ H. axyridis và rệp vào tập hợp các loài bọ rùa, (ii) mối quan hệ giữa mật độ bọ rùa và mật độ rệp, (iii) mối quan hệ giữa đa dạng các loài bọ rùa bản địa và mật độ H. axyridis. Đã có một mối quan hệ phi tuyến tính giữa mật độ bọ rùa và mật độ rệp nhưng chúng tôi nhận thấy mật độ của các loài bọ rùa khác không có liên quan đến H. axyridis. Chúng tôi nhấn mạnh giá trị của các nghiên cứu quy mô không gian lớn để tiết lộ các mẫu trong việc tụ hợp cộng đồng và cuối cùng nâng cao hiểu biết về khả năng phục hồi của hệ sinh thái.
