Self-parametric chaotic oscillators for secure communication systems

In this paper, we propose a new class of time-varying chaotic oscillators. Driven by the internal parametric action that is a function of state variables, such oscillators can generate more complex waveform depending upon the type and parameters of this function. By introducing the appropriate ("reduced") time scale we prove that time-varying state equation of self-parametric oscillator can be reduced to that of its time-invariant prototype. The suitable self-synchronization technique for these oscillators is presented and the possibility for their application to secure communications is demonstrated by means of computer simulations.
