Chúng tôi báo cáo trường hợp một bệnh nhân 17 tuổi mắc hemophilia A nặng không có kháng thể ức chế, đã phát triển chảy máu bụng sau một cơn ho dữ dội. Siêu âm ổ bụng cho thấy có huyết khối niêm mạc trong ruột cũng như một lượng lớn dịch ổ bụng xuất hiện như máu và hematocele bên phải. CT bụng cho thấy thành ruột dày rõ rệt ở vùng sigma. Bệnh nhân đã được điều trị bằng liệu pháp thay thế cũng như dẫn lưu ổ bụng với kết quả có lợi. Đây là báo cáo đầu tiên về tình trạng huyết khối ổ bụng ở bệnh nhân hemophilia do vỡ huyết khối niêm mạc sigma.
