Điều Trị Lipoatrophy Mặt Do Liệu Pháp Kháng Virus Retro Gây Ra ở Bệnh Nhân HIV Bằng Gel Polyacrylamide

Ngày nay, liệu pháp kháng virus retro có hoạt tính cao đang cứu sống hầu hết các bệnh nhân nhiễm HIV, nhưng điều trị này có thể dẫn đến tình trạng lipoatrophy mặt, làm biến đổi khuôn mặt một cách mạnh mẽ, khiến bệnh nhân có thể gặp phải những vấn đề tâm lý và xã hội nghiêm trọng. Kể từ năm 2001, gel polyacrylamide (PAAG) đã được sử dụng thành công trên bệnh nhân HIV ở nước ngoài. Bài báo này mô tả kết quả của một nghiên cứu tại Đan Mạch. Bốn mươi bệnh nhân HIV được tuyển chọn từ hai bệnh viện giới thiệu lớn ở khu vực thủ đô Copenhagen, Đan Mạch, mỗi người đều nhận một loạt các mũi tiêm gel PAAG (những liều nhỏ trong nhiều phiên) với khoảng thời gian 14 ngày.
