Shows how to introduce computer support for the implementation of different decision‐making settings. Provides a comparison between decision support and expert systems. Analyses the similarities and dissimilarities of decision support systems (DSS) and expert systems (ES) and presents a conceptual framework for the integration of these two technologies.
