Nồng độ kim loại nặng trong trầm tích bề mặt từ các hồ nước mặn Wadi El Natrun, Ai Cập

Nồng độ kim loại nặng ở các hồ nước mặn Wadi El Natrun đã được nghiên cứu. Pb, Zn, Mn, Cu, Cd, Ni, Fe và Al được đo trong các trầm tích bề mặt. Nồng độ kim loại nặng phần lớn cho thấy ảnh hưởng của quá trình phong hóa từ các nguồn đất liền. So với mức trung bình trong các đá trầm tích, nồng độ các kim loại nặng được nghiên cứu cao hơn mức trung bình toàn cầu của đá sa thạch. Điều này cũng được phản ánh qua các hệ số làm giàu cao. Nồng độ kim loại nặng trong các hồ II và III giảm theo thứ tự Pb > Zn > Cu, trong khi ở hồ I thứ tự giảm là Cu > Zn > Pb. Các trầm tích có lớp màng vi sinh vật được phát hiện đã tập trung kim loại nặng vượt mức giá trị nền của trầm tích.
