Gia đình gen GHMP, một loại enzyme phụ thuộc ATP độc đáo, bao gồm các galactokinase, homoserine kinase, mevalonate kinase và phosphomevalonate kinase, v.v. Nó được liên quan đến việc sinh tổng hợp isoprene và amino acid cũng như trong quá trình chuyển hóa carbohydrate. Các nghiên cứu trước đây chủ yếu tập trung vào cấu trúc, cơ chế xúc tác hoặc chức năng trong tín hiệu stress không sinh học. Trong nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi đã tích hợp tiến trình nghiên cứu về các gen GHMP và xác định 12 thành viên (năm thành viên đã được phát hiện trước đây và bảy thành viên mới được xác định ở đây) của gia đình này trong Arabidopsis thaliana.
