Tóm tắtHoàn cảnhUng thư vú là loại ung thư được chẩn đoán thường xuyên nhất ở phụ nữ trên toàn thế giới. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là xác định các yếu tố liên quan đến việc chẩn đoán muộn ung thư vú ở phụ nữ Togo.Phương phápChúng tôi đã thực hiện một nghiên cứu cắt ngang tiềm năng với mục đích mô tả và phân tích về các trường hợp ung thư vú ở phụ nữ trong năm 2021, tại Togo. Các bệnh nhân được đưa vào nghiên cứu này là những phụ nữ theo dõi tại khoa sản phụ khoa với bệnh ung thư vú giai đoạn III và IV.Kết quảChúng tôi đã bao gồm 62 trường hợp ung thư vú. Tuổi trung bình của các bệnh nhân là 38.6 ± 12.5 năm, với giới hạn từ 17 đến 76 năm. Khối u vú là lý do tư vấn phổ biến nhất, chiếm 75.8% các trường hợp. Các loại mô học được chẩn đoán bao gồm carcinoma xâm lấn không đặc hiệu (58; 93.55%), carcinoma nhầy (3; 4.84%) và carcinoma tế bào gian đới (1; 1.61%). Về giai đoạn của ung thư, 43 bệnh nhân ở giai đoạn III (69.4%) và 19 bệnh nhân ở giai đoạn IV (30.6%).Trong phân tích đa biến, các yếu tố liên quan đến việc chẩn đoán muộn ung thư vú bao gồm: sợ hãi khi chẩn đoán (aOR = 1.29;p = 0.0014), khoảng thời gian chẩn đoán lâu (aOR = 2.62;p = 0.0001) và không thực hiện kiểm tra tự khám ngực (aOR = 1.68;p = 0.0022).Kết luậnSự sợ hãi khi chẩn đoán, sự vắng mặt của việc tự kiểm tra vú và việc sử dụng điều trị truyền thống cùng tự điều trị với ý định ban đầu là những yếu tố trọng yếu dẫn đến việc chẩn đoán muộn ung thư vú. Cần triển khai các chiến lược ở cấp quốc gia để tác động đến những yếu tố này nhằm chẩn đoán sớm ung thư vú.
