Abstract5‐Vinylsalicylaldehyde, o‐, m‐, p‐divinylbenzenes, and 1,5‐divinylnaphthalene were prepared in high yields by using the Wittig reaction of the corresponding phosphoranes with aqueous formaldehyde.
