Một nguyên nhân hiếm gặp gây tắc ruột sau phẫu thuật cắt dạ dày Roux-en-Y bằng phương pháp nội soi (RYGBP) đã được báo cáo. Một bệnh nhân nữ 42 tuổi phát triển triệu chứng buồn nôn, nôn mửa và các quai ruột non giãn ra ngay sau khi bắt đầu ăn uống vào ngày hôm sau phẫu thuật RYGBP. Chụp CT đã cho thấy một quai ruột xoắn quanh ống dẫn lưu bụng. Sau khi loại bỏ ống dẫn lưu, các triệu chứng của bệnh nhân lập tức biến mất và quá trình hồi phục sau đó của cô diễn ra suôn sẻ. Chúng tôi đề xuất tránh sử dụng ống dẫn lưu sau phẫu thuật RYGBP không biến chứng.
