Sự định cư và đa dạng của nấm mycorrhiza dạng sợi (AMF) trên rễ của cây nho đã được nghiên cứu tại các vườn nho sản xuất nằm dọc theo một đoạn karst dài 500 km bên bờ biển Adriatic. Cộng đồng AMF trên rễ cây nho đã được phân tích bằng phương pháp điện di gel nhiệt độ tạm thời và giải trình tự các đoạn 18S và đoạn không chuyển đoạn nội bộ của operon rDNA.
