Năm mươi ba tình nguyện viên cao tuổi không bị tiểu đường trong độ tuổi từ 85 đến 96 đã được nghiên cứu khi họ đạt được trạng thái sức khỏe trước khi nhập viện, trước khi ra viện khỏi các khoa đánh giá cấp tính của một Đơn vị Lão khoa.
