Tóm tắt
U nhầy tim là khối u lành tính phổ biến nhất của tim. U nhầy tim có thể là tổn thương ngẫu nhiên (chiếm 93% trường hợp) và thường gặp ở phụ nữ trên 30 tuổi. Việc cắt bỏ hoàn toàn u nhầy và các bộ phận gắn kết với tim thường mang lại kết quả chữa trị triệt để. Tần suất tái phát ở u nhầy tim dao động từ 3% đối với các trường hợp ngẫu nhiên đến 22% đối với các trường hợp có hội chứng Carney. Sự tái phát đã được liên quan đến việc cắt bỏ không hoàn toàn, tính đa ổ và tình trạng tắc mạch của các mảnh u.
