Acoustic emission phenomena due to plasticity of rocks
Tóm tắt
Acoustic emission patterns arising at the stage of plastic deformation (creep and relaxation) of plastic and brittle rocks are discussed. It is suggested that these patterns are related to the spatial localization of plastic deformation and strain hardening of rocks under loads exceeding the yield strength.
