Nghiên cứu này điều tra độ chính xác và độ tin cậy của quy trình lập bản đồ topo trong việc ước lượng quần thể sâu bọ trên cây dưới nhiều điều kiện lấy mẫu khác nhau. Các kỹ thuật mô phỏng được sử dụng để xác định giá trị trung bình và độ lệch chuẩn của các sai số tỷ lệ gặp phải trong ước lượng dưới các cường độ lấy mẫu khác nhau.
