Interaction of tannic acid with carbon nanotubes: enhancement of dispersibility and biocompatibility
Tập 4 Số 1 - Trang 160-168
Xiqi Zhang, Meiying Liu, Fengjie Deng, Cuiying Zhou, Junfeng Hui, Wanyun Liu, Yen Wei
The interaction between carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and tannic acid (TA) as well as the effects of TA adsorption on the dispersibility and biocompatibility of CNTs were evaluated.
Toxic mechanisms of microcystins in mammals
Tập 6 Số 4 - Trang 391-405
Nicole L. McLellan, Richard A. Manderville
This review discusses mechanisms of toxicity, particularly those observed in liver tissue, mediated by microcystins (MCs) produced by cyanobacteria.

Low toxicity and accumulation of zinc oxide nanoparticles in mice after 270-day consecutive dietary supplementation
Tập 6 Số 2 - Trang 134-143
Jiahui Liu, Xin Ma, Yingying Xu, Huan Tang, Sheng‐Tao Yang, Yifan Yang, Dongdong Kang, Haifang Wang, Yuanfang Liu
After 270-day consecutive feeding with food containing ZnO nanoparticles, ZnO microparticles and Zn ions, no Zn level increase was found in any organ except digestive tract organs and only ZnO nanoparticles induce minor toxicity.
Protective effects of zinc oxide nanoparticles against doxorubicin induced testicular toxicity and DNA damage in male rats
Tập 8 Số 5 - Trang 654-662 - 2019
Zeynab Kh, Walaa Naby
Abstract The present study aims to investigate the protective effects of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) on doxorubicin-induced testicular injury. Forty mature male rats were randomly allocated into four equal groups: G1 (control), G2 (3 mg per kg BW of zinc oxide nanoparticles was administered), G3 (6 mg per kg BW of doxorubicin was intraperitoneally injected), and G4 (doxorubicin + ZnO NPs). ... hiện toàn bộ
The acute hepatotoxicity of tacrine explained by1H NMR based metabolomic profiling
Tập 4 Số 6 - Trang 1465-1478
Yanhong Lou, Junsong Wang, Ge Dong, Pingping Guo, Dandan Wei, Sai‐Sai Xie, Ming‐Hua Yang, Lingyi Kong
NMR based metabolomics approach was applied to study the mechanism of tacrine-induced acute hepatotoxicity and had found significant disturbances.
Identification and quantification of biomarkers to confirm the poisoning by Ginkgo biloba seeds in a 2-year-old boy
Tập 4 Số 4 - Trang 922-930
Chiara Di Lorenzo, Alessandro Ceschi, Francesca Colombo, G. Frigerio, Mario G. Bianchetti, Saskia Lüde, Margot von Dechend, Ermanno Valoti, Patrizia Restani
Ginkgo seed poisoning was confirmed by measuring 4′-O-methyl pyridoxine (MPN) as a serum biomarkers. Picture shows the kinetic of MPN at 14 (B) and 20 (C) hours from intake.
Perturbation of epigenetic processes by doxorubicin in the mouse testis
Tập 5 Số 4 - Trang 1229-1243
Oluwajoba O. Akinjo, Timothy W. Gant, Emma L. Marczylo
Doxorubicin-induced testicular toxicity involves differential microRNA expression and DNA methylation. This is of potential concern since epigenetic perturbation in the germ line could lead to adverse effects across multiple generations.
Cystamine attenuated behavioral deficiency via increasing the expression of BDNF and activating PI3K/Akt signaling in 2,5-hexanedione intoxicated rats
