Observations on a hybrid between the whooper swan (Cygnus cygnus) and the mute swan (Cygnus olor)Pleiades Publishing Ltd - Tập 37 - Trang 759-767 - 2010
E. N. Panov, E. Yu. Pavlova
The swan obtained by hybridization between Cygnus cygnus and C.olor was
delivered to the Moscow Zoo from the Leningrad Zoo in 1989. Between 2002 and
2004, it permanently remained with a female whooper swan in a large pond. The
two swans behaved as a breeding pair, although the sex of the hybrid bird
remained unknown. We observed no courtship displays addressed by the hybrid swan
either to the fema... hiện toàn bộ
Degradation of Phenols Formed during Lignin Pyrolysis by Microfungi of Genera Trichoderma and PenicilliumPleiades Publishing Ltd - Tập 32 - Trang 445-449 - 2005
E. A. Karetnikova, A. D. Zhirkova
This work presents the data on the rate of utilization of phenols formed during
lignin pyrolysis by micromycetes of the genera Trichoderma and Penicillium.
Trichoderma strains utilized phenols at the concentration of liquid pyrolytic
products of 0.5–1%, while Penicillium strains degraded over 50% phenols at the
concentration of pyrolytic products of 2%. Micromycete cultures completely
utilized phe... hiện toàn bộ
Hierarchy of Factors that Determine the Timing of the Arrival of Passeriformes in the Ob Forested TundraPleiades Publishing Ltd - Tập 47 - Trang 968-980 - 2021
V. N. Ryzhanovskiy, A. V. Gilev
This paper analyzes the factors that determine the timing of the spring arrival
of passerine birds in the nesting area, i.e., the Lower Ob Region. For the
period 1971–2015, a reliable negative trend to an arrival shift to earlier dates
for seven out of 16 species, an unreliable shift for six species, and a positive
trend for three species were found. Using cluster analysis, three groups of
species... hiện toàn bộ
Mechanism of enzymatic crosslinking of fibrinogen moleculesPleiades Publishing Ltd - - 2008
M. A. Rozenfeld, V. V. Leonova, M. L. Konstantinova, S. D. Razumovskii
The mechanism of enzymatic covalent crosslinking of fibrinogen molecules under
the effect of plasma transglutaminase (factor XIIIa) has been studied. Using the
methods of elastic and dynamic light scattering combined with viscosimetry and
electrophoresis of the reduced samples, it has been shown that fibrinogen
oxidation strongly accelerates self-assembly of the covalently crosslinked
fibrinogen p... hiện toàn bộ
Helminth Fauna of Black-Legged Kittiwakes (Rissa tridactyla, Laridae, Charadriiformes) in the Northern Part of the Kara SeaPleiades Publishing Ltd - Tập 50 - Trang 2147-2154 - 2024
V. V. Kuklin, M. M. Kuklina, A. V. Ezhov
The results of original studies on the helminth fauna of the black-legged
kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla L.) (ten ad. and ten juv.) in the northern part of
the Kara Sea (Severnaya Zemlya Archipelago and Wiese Island) carried out in the
years 2019–2020 are presented. Eight species of helminths (one trematode, four
cestodes, and three nematodes) have been registered. For the first time in
seabirds in t... hiện toàn bộ
The Co-Invasion of the Three Asteraceae Invasive Plants Can Synergistically Increase Soil Phenol Oxidase ActivityPleiades Publishing Ltd - Tập 50 - Trang 467-473 - 2023

The co-invasion of two or even more invasive plants in the same habitat can
occur through invasion meltdown. Nevertheless, there is little progress in the
ecological effects of the co-invasion of multiple invasive plants on soil enzyme
activities. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of the co-invasion of three
Asteraceae invasive plants (Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq., C. sumatrensis
