Mathematical modeling of processes of devising fibrous composite materials and thin-walled structural elements by forced windingMechanics of Composite Materials - Tập 26 - Trang 386-398 - 1990
V. N. Paimushin, I. N. Sidorov
With the aid of the method of averaging processes in regular media, on the assumption that the temperature field in the semiproduct of PM is homogeneous at all stages of the production of thin-walled articles of CM, we suggested averaged equations of equilibrium, and also constructive algorithms for calculating the effective moduli and defining relations of the material of the semiproduct of CM. Deformation of teflon in linear and plane states of stressMechanics of Composite Materials - Tập 4 - Trang 587-590 - 1968
S. A. Elsuf'ev
Teflon specimens have been deformed in accordance with various laws of variation of stress and strain with time under plane stress conditions. Fairly simple expressions describing the relation between the stresses and large (up to 60% relative to the initial dimensions) strains are constructed for a broad class of loading regimes.
Effect of properties of high-density polyethylene on durability of welded jointsMechanics of Composite Materials - Tập 32 - Trang 582-586 - 1996
V. I. Kimel'blat, S. V. Cherezov, N. A. Lyalina, I. M. Yudenkov
The molecular characteristics of pipe grades of high-density and medium-density polyethylene modified by 1-butene do not affect the durability of welded joints. Their long-term strength depends mainly on the density of the base grade of polyethylene and increases by an order of magnitude when the density is reduced in the investigated range. We have obtained mathematical models approximating the d...... hiện toàn bộ
Deflection Behaviour of Hybrid Composite Shell Panels Under Dynamic LoadingsMechanics of Composite Materials - - 2024
S. Tiwari, C. K. Hirwani, A. G. Barman
Dynamic behavior of hybrid composite shallow shell panels was analyzed utilizing a high-order shear deformation theory (HOSDT) in conjunction with the finite-element method (FEM). To enhance the suitability of plant-fiber composites and to use them as substitutes for pure synthetic-fiber composites, the hybridization of banana-epoxy and glass-epoxy composites was performed, and different sets of h...... hiện toàn bộ
Utilization of Composite Materials in Saddle-Shaped Cable RoofsMechanics of Composite Materials - Tập 36 - Trang 385-388 - 2000
D. Serdjuks, K. Rocens, L. Pakrastinsh
A saddle-shaped cable roof formed by two orthogonal groups of cables joined with a compliant support contour is considered. The kinematic invariability of the roof obtained by prestabilizing the cables makes it possible to avoid heavy slabs of reinforced concrete in the construction of roofs and to use light composite materials. The main geometric characteristics for a cable roof with CFRP load-ca...... hiện toàn bộ
