Quaternary Ti-B-C-N films have been deposited onto Si (100) substrates by dc
magnetron sputtering of bi-component Ti/B4C target in an Ar/N2 gas mixture with
different amounts of nitrogen in the mixture (from 0 to 50%). The X-ray
diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, indentation, and scratch tests
have been employed to characterize the films. The films have been found to have
the nano-comp... hiện toàn bộ
Wear resistance of nano-polycrystalline diamond with various hexagonal diamond contentsJournal of Superhard Materials - Tập 34 - Trang 343-349 - 2013

Wear resistance of nano-polycrystalline diamond (NPD) rods containing various
amounts of hexagonal diamond has been tested with a new method for practical
evaluation of the wear-resistance rate of superhard ceramics, in addition to the
measurements of their Knoop hardness. The wear resistance of NPD has been found
to increase with increasing synthesis temperature and accordingly decreasing
proport... hiện toàn bộ
Thermodynamics of the interaction of a group of nanoparticles with a macrophaseJournal of Superhard Materials - Tập 30 - Trang 379-383 - 2009
A. F. Lisovskii
An expression describing the variation of the Gibbs potential for a system
consisting of a group of nanoparticles and a macrophase has been derived. It has
been shown that in this system there are diffusion flows of the substance from
nanoparticles to the macrophase. The conditions have been defined, under which a
nanoparticle or a group of nanoparticles can be in an equilibrium state and
maintain... hiện toàn bộ
Production of Polycrystalline Materials by Sintering of Nanodispersed Diamond Nanopowders at High Pressure. ReviewJournal of Superhard Materials - Tập 40 - Trang 325-334 - 2018
O. O. Bochechka
The investigations dealing with the problems of forming polycrystalline
materials with a high level of physical-and-mechanical properties using the
method of diamond powder sintering at high pressure have been considered. The
compacting mechanism of diamond nanopowders of different genesis under exposure
to high pressure and high temperature is described, special features of pore
structure formati... hiện toàn bộ
Special features of magnetoresistance in nanostructural diamond compactsJournal of Superhard Materials - Tập 33 - Trang 29-33 - 2011

The results of the investigation into the behavior of resistivity of
nanostructural diamond composites produced by thermobaric treatment of various
nanodiamond powders over a wide range of temperatures and external magnetic
fields have been considered. It has been found that the conductivity of
nanostructural diamond compacts does not depend on the presence of impurity
atoms in samples and may be ... hiện toàn bộ
Adsorption properties of shungite in purification of water–alcohol solutionsJournal of Superhard Materials - - 2018

Shungite adsorption properties to remove higher alcohols and other impurities
from water–alcohol solutions is studied by the methods of nitrogen adsorption,
thermogravimetric analysis, wetting, temperature-programmed desorption mass
spectrometry, and FTIR spectroscopy. Shungite is shown to be able to effectively
sorb impurities from water-alcohol solutions to form fairly strong adsorption
systems.... hiện toàn bộ
Simulation of novel superhard carbon materials based on fullerenes and nanotubesJournal of Superhard Materials - Tập 32 - Trang 67-87 - 2010
V. V. Ivanovskaya, A. L. Ivanovskii
The state-of-the-art in theoretical research directed at the search for
superhard materials based on carbon fullerenes and nanotubes has been briefly
reviewed. The data available on elastic properties of the main groups of
condensed phases that form due to the interaction of fullerenes or (and)
nanotubes because of both weak (of the van der Waals type) bonds and
polymerization to form strong coval... hiện toàn bộ
