On the Issue of Ecological Niches of Plant Pathogens in Western Siberia
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 12 - Trang 667-674 - 2020
I. G. Vorob’eva, E. Yu. Toropova
This article outlines a systematic and ecological approach to the analysis of ecological niches of pathogenic plant micromycetes taking into account the achievements of general and evolutionary ecology and epiphytothiology. The regularities of the expansion of phytopathogen niches in different ecological environments are traced. The evolutionarily formed primary narrow ecological niches of soil mi...... hiện toàn bộ
Spatial Variation in the Concentration of Phenolic Compounds and Nutritional Elements in the Needles of Spruce in Northern Taiga Forests
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 12 - Trang 769-779 - 2020
N. A. Artemkina, M. A. Orlova, N. V. Lukina
Patterns of lateral intrabiogeocenotic (between separate elementary biogeoranges) and interbiogeocenotic variability in the content of secondary metabolites and nutritional elements in the different-age needles of spruce (Picea abies ssp. obovata (Ledeb.) Domin) have been studied along the geochemical transect in spruce forests in northern taiga (Kola Peninsula). The perennial needles of spruce un...... hiện toàn bộ
Reconstruction of palaeoecological and palaeoclimatic conditions of the Holocene in the south of the Taimyr according to an analysis of lake sediments
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 10 - Trang 363-369 - 2017
L. S. Syrykh, L. B. Nazarova, U. Herzschuh, D. A. Subetto, I. M. Grekov
A sediment core from Khatanga-12 Lake (Taimyr Peninsula, Krasnoyarsk krai) has been studied. The 131.5-cm-long core covers ca. 7100 years of sedimentation. Chironomid analysis, a qualitative reconstruction of the paleoenvironment in the region, and a quantitative reconstruction of variations of the mean July air temperature and in the water depth of the lake have been performed using Northern Russ...... hiện toàn bộ
Estimation of the carry-over of substances by dragonflies from water bodies to land in the forest-steppe of West Siberia
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 5 - Trang 34-39 - 2012
O. N. Popova, A. Yu. Kharitonov
The results of many years’ monitoring of the number and distribution of dragonflies in the Chany area of the Baraba forest-steppe are presented. An estimation of the biomass carry-over by dragonflies from water bodies to land ecosystems is given. The data presented provide evidence of the important role of dragonflies in the migration of substances from water bodies to land.
Dynamics of Species and Size Structures of Phytoplankton at Different Levels of Bottom-Up and Top-Down Effects in Experimental Conditions
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 12 - Trang 245-253 - 2019
E. G. Sakharova, I. Yu. Feniova, Z. I. Gorelysheva, M. Rzepecki, I. Kostshevska-Shlakovska, A. V. Krylov, N. S. Zilitinkevicz
An experimental study of the impacts of trophic conditions and the activity of zooplankton and fish on the phytoplankton structure has shown that, at the beginning of the experiment, the species and size structures of algae were dependent on the N : P ratio. This parameter causes the differences in phytoplankton structures between mesotrophic and eutrophic conditions so that, in mesotrophic condit...... hiện toàn bộ
Analysis of sexual polymorphism of the plant from subclass Rosidae in Siberia
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 5 - Trang 337-342 - 2012
V. N. Godin
Sexual systems and association with several ecological and life history attributes were examined for 977 native angiosperms of subclass Rosidae in Siberia. The majority of angiosperms in Siberia are hermaphrodites (87.7%, N = 867). The most widespread forms of sexual differentiations are andromonoecy, gynodioecy, and dioecy. The rarest forms of sexual differentiations are monoecy, trioecy, and and...... hiện toàn bộ
Present Range of Tuva Mountain Vole Alticola tuvinicus Ognev, 1950 (Review of Environmental Conditions and Modeling)
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 12 - Trang 453-463 - 2019
S. A. Abramov, N. V. Lopatina, I. V. Moroldoev, Yu. N. Litvinov
This study analyzes the present distribution of the Tuva mountain voles based on literary data, museum collections, and our own materials. A bioclimatic model of potential species distribution has been constructed using 25 localities identified as having Tuva mountain voles in Russia and Mongolia. It is shown that the species range of the Tuva voles consists of three large isolated parts: the nort...... hiện toàn bộ
Microscale Heterogeneity of Floodplain Meadows (Using the Example of the Delta of the Northern Dvina River)
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 11 - Trang 35-44 - 2018
T. A. Parinova, A. G. Volkov, A. A. Popova
This article provides a quantitative evaluation of aspects of the spatial heterogeneity of soil and vegetation cover of floodplains in relation to the microrelief using the example of floodplains of the Northern Dvina River delta. It is detected that the soil and vegetation cover of the floodplain meadows in the Northern Dvina Delta is a feature of a relief on a microlandscape level. This dependen...... hiện toàn bộ
Communities of Saproxylic Beetles of Silver Birch (Betula pendula Roth.) in the Voroninsky Nature Reserve
Contemporary Problems of Ecology - Tập 15 - Trang 71-82 - 2022
A. N. Volodchenko, D. G. Seleznev
This study has been conducted to examine the diversity and community structure of saproxylic beetles inhabiting silver birch (Betula pendula Roth) in the Voroninsky State Nature Reserve. The beetles were caught using interception traps located on the trunks of birch trees in different decomposition stages. The results show that a total 1806 individuals of saproxylic beetles, belonging to 96 specie...... hiện toàn bộ
