Magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out on lead sulphide in the
form of natural galena crystals, and in the form of crushed powder. The
experimental molecular diamagnetic susceptibility value was found to be
93·27×10−6 (in e.m.u./gm.mol.) for the single crystal and 81·84×10−6 for the

Results of swarm analysis of electron scattering cross sections in nitrous oxide
and carbon dioxide are presented — experimental diffusion coefficients are
compared with numerical solution of the Boltzmann equation. Total cross sections
