Based on the results of a biogeochemical survey, an assessment of the state of
woody vegetation in the functional zones of Ulaanbaatar is given. A strong
accumulation of Zn and Cd is detected in poplar leaves, with Mo and V found in
larch needles. Among the factors responsible for the accumulation of
microelements in poplar leaves, the main ones are the altitude (for As, Cd, Co,
Cu, Ni, Zn), city ... hiện toàn bộ
Differentiation of Soil Processes by Stages of Soil Formation in the Regions of a Dry Climatic BeltArid Ecosystems - Tập 12 - Trang 382-388 - 2022
M. M. Alichaev, M. G. Sultanova, P. D. Musalaeva
Modern manifestation of desertification stages and of arid degradation and the
dynamics of the development of these processes depending on soil fertility under
arid conditions are analyzed based on the example of some areas of the Western
Caspian Sea Region: the Terek-Kuma Lowland and the Terek River delta. There are
two stages of the development of degradation processes, which strongly differ in

Alluvial soils of river floodplains and deltas and their zonal differencesArid Ecosystems - Tập 1 - Trang 119-124 - 2011

The morphological properties of floodplains and their morphological
classification are shown from the generalization of long-term studies. A
detailed description of alluvial processes is given, and stages of alluvial soil
formation are characterized. Zonal-geographic, hydro-geomorphologic,
evolutionary, and geomorphologic-genetic regularities in soil geography are
found. The properties of alluvial... hiện toàn bộ
The Ontogenesis and Structure of Population of Rindera tetraspis Pall. (Boraginaceae) in Orenburg OblastArid Ecosystems - Tập 13 - Trang 412-418 - 2023
A. N. Mustafina, L. M. Abramova, O. A. Karimova
Assessment of the modern status of populations of rare plant species by
population-ontogenetic methods is used for solving problems of conservation and
restoration of natural communities. The object of the study is a rare species of
the European Russia, Rindera tetraspis Pall., a poorly studied threatened steppe
endemic. The purpose of the research was to assess the modern status and
ontogenetic s... hiện toàn bộ
Features of structure in zonal forest-steppe ecotone of South Siberia and Central AsiaArid Ecosystems - Tập 2 - Trang 78-85 - 2012

The paper discusses features of the spatial organization of distinctive
landscape complex of exposure forest-steppe in South Siberia on example of the
analysis of three key areas on the ridges Western Tannu-Ola, Dzhidinskii, and
Barguzin. A variety of the territorial units of vegetation revealed within the
identified high-altitude landscape strips of the forest-steppe belt. Specific
features of th... hiện toàn bộ
Mechanisms of primary successions on the Caspian Sea coastArid Ecosystems - Tập 1 - Trang 149-158 - 2011
L. A. Dimeyeva
Development patterns for vegetation on the Novo-Caspian plain are established on
the basis of the study of spatiotemporal series. Three types of primary
successions have been recognized, i.e., psammosere, halosere, and meadow sere,
which differ in environmental conditions, regular features of temporal dynamics,
and formation stages. The stages of the succession were identified on the basis
of envi... hiện toàn bộ
Are There Mountain Xerphytes in the Mountains of South Siberia?Arid Ecosystems - Tập 13 - Trang 395-402 - 2023

The regularities of biomorphological, ecological, and species differentiation of
phytocenoses in the most arid southeastern sector of the Altai Republic reflect
a tendency towards the local formation of a complete type of arid vertical
zoning. This is typical for arid mountains of Central Asia and includes the
following belts (from bottom to top): (1) dwarf shrub deserts, (2) communities
of thorn ... hiện toàn bộ
