Typology of sclereidsProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 77 Số 2 - Trang 41-55 - 1973
Rao, T. Ananda, Bhupal, O. P.
A resume on the morphological types of sclereids has been given under various
typological heads with example drawn from the published literature to enhance
their utility as distinct types in detailed description of sclereids. Depending
on the constancy of the body shape the sclereids are classified into two main
subdivisions: Monomorphic and Polymorphic. With some reservation, within the
scope of ... hiện toàn bộ
On the root rot ofKochia indica wightProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 51 Số 3 - Trang 150-156 - 1960
Sharma, B. B.
The paper deals with the root-rot ofKochia indica Wight caused byRhizoctonia
solani Kuhn which secures successful infection through the root of the host. The
disease is described for the first time. The external and internal
symptomatology of the diseased plants has been described. The distribution of
the fungus in different parts of the host has been studied in detail. In the
seedling stage of th... hiện toàn bộ
Inheritance of fruit colour in theSolanum nigrum complexProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 74 Số 3 - Trang 137-141 - 1971
Venkateswarlu, J., Krishna Rao, M.
In theSolanum nigrum complex there is wide variability in the fruit colour. In
17 accessions representing diploids, tetraploids and hexaploids, dark shining
blue, dull blue, bright red, orange red, yellowish-red and translucent green
were observed in the different accessions. Blue is inherited as dominant over
red and translucent green; however, the results obtained in crosses between blue
and tra... hiện toàn bộ
Studies on the chemistry of copper(I) with arylazoimidazolesProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 110 Số 5 - Trang 445-451 - 1998

N(1)-alkyl-2-(arylazo)imidazoles (RC6H4N=NC3H2N N(1)X; X=Me (a), Et (b);
R=7-Me(L1), 7-OMe(L2), 7-Cl(L3), 7-NO2(L4) and 8-Me(L5)) yield perchlorate salts
ofbis-chelated complexes with copper(I). The complexes are 1:1 electrolyte and
the composition in supported by Jobs method of continuous variation. The N=N
stretching is red shifted by 60–70 cm−1 compared to free ligand values
suggesting efficien... hiện toàn bộ

Salicylaldoxime: An old ligand with new facesProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 111 Số 3 - Trang 397-411 - 1999
Chaudhuri, Phalguni
The paper is concerned with the interactions of salicylaldoxime with trivalent
transition metal ions to yield di-, tri-, tetra- and hexanuclear complexes
together with their low-lying electronic structures. Tri- and tetranuclear
complexes are found to exhibit spin frustration. The importance of isostructural
series of compounds with varyingd n electron configurations is indicated.

On some archiannelids from the beach sands of Waltair CoastProceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 67 Số 1 - Trang 24-30 - 1968
Chandrasekhara Rao, G., Ganapati, P. N.
The paper reports the occurrence of twelve species of Archiannelids in the
interstitial sands of the Waltair beach. Of these, six European species are
reported for the first time from Indian waters and their occurrence on the
Indian coast is of great interest from a Zoogeographical aspect of their
distribution.
Morphology and schizogonic cycle ofHæmoproteus raymundi N. SP., parasite ofLeptocoma zeylanica (Lin.)Proceedings / Indian Academy of Sciences - Tập 1 Số 2 - Trang 97-99 - 1934
de Mello, Col I. Froilano, Raimundo, Macario
Leptocoma Zeylanica (Lin.) is parasitised by a Hæmoproteus which we consider a
new species and nameH. Raymundi. The interest lies in its particularly simple
schizogonic cycle. Merozoites arise as a result of the nuclear division of free
trophozoites and the former remain free among the cells of the host tissue. They
finally attack the red blood corpuscles as schizonts. In spite of careful
research... hiện toàn bộ
