Tóm tắt Đặt vấn đề Gãy xương gần ngoài cổ xương đùi ở người cao tuổi rất phổ biến. Khi tuổi trung bình của dân số tăng lên, tỷ lệ gãy xương như vậy cũng gia tăng, dẫn đến chi phí chăm sóc sức khỏe cao. Loại thiết bị phẫu thuật được sử dụng trong việc quản lý phẫu thuật ảnh hưởng đến những chi phí này. Phương pháp Một nghiên cứu lâm sàng so sánh đã được thực hiện trên những bệnh nhân được phẫu thuật bởi một bác sĩ phẫu thuật duy nhất trong thời gian từ tháng 12 năm 2018 đến tháng 11 năm 2020 tại một trung tâm giới thiệu theo khu vực có khối lượng bệnh nhân cao. Tất cả bệnh nhân được sử dụng móng tự nhiên Zimmer (ZNN) hoặc thiết bị ELOS đều được đưa vào nghiên cứu. Kết quả Trong số 179 gãy xương, đã sử dụng móng ZNN cho 119 (66,48%) ca. Sau phẫu thuật, khoảng cách từ đỉnh đến đỉnh (TAD) được đo ở giá trị trung bình là 17,05 (4,42–41,85) mm và CalTAD (TAD tham chiếu calcar) là trung bình 20,76 (10,82–43,63) mm. Thời gian nằm viện trung bình là 10,19 (4–22) ngày. Trong 60 trường hợp gãy xương gần ngoài khác, sử dụng móng ELOS. Hình ảnh sau phẫu thuật cho thấy TAD là 19,65 (5,08–31,4) mm và CalTAD là 22,86 mm (12,66–33,77). Thời gian phẫu thuật trung bình là 45,82 (20–110) phút. Thời gian nằm viện trung bình là 10,45 (5–24) ngày. Kết luận Cả hai thiết bị cho kết quả tương tự về mặt kết quả sau phẫu thuật ngắn hạn và thời gian nằm viện. Sự khác biệt về giá giữa các thiết bị không chuyển đổi thành các kết quả khác biệt trong thời gian ngắn ở những bệnh nhân đã phẫu thuật.
