Nhiều tổn thương da, rối loạn nội tiết cũng như myxom tim là những đặc điểm điển hình của hội chứng Carney (CNC) hiếm gặp. Tài liệu ca lâm sàng này cung cấp cái nhìn tổng quan về các tiêu chí chính và phụ của CNC và mô tả diễn biến của một bệnh nhân, người đã phát triển suy tim nặng với suy đa tạng do phải trải qua nhiều ca phẫu thuật tim, dẫn đến việc cần thiết phải cấy ghép hệ thống hỗ trợ tim trái ("left ventricular assist device", LVAD).
