Bệnh phổi tắc nghẽn mãn tính (COPD) là một bệnh lý mãn tính với các đợt bùng phát lặp lại dẫn đến suy giảm dần dần. Chất lượng cuộc sống của bệnh nhân mắc COPD được cho là kém mặc dù đã có nhiều nỗ lực nhằm cải thiện khả năng tự quản lý. Tuy nhiên, có những bằng chứng mâu thuẫn về lợi ích của việc tự quản lý trong COPD. Liệu điều này có thể do các nhu cầu chưa được đáp ứng khác của bệnh nhân hay không vẫn chưa được nghiên cứu. Do đó, chúng tôi đã đặt mục tiêu khám phá các nhu cầu chưa được đáp ứng của bệnh nhân từ cả bệnh nhân lẫn bác sĩ điều trị COPD.
