Có ý kiến cho rằng nhiều bệnh nhân chấn thương cao tuổi bị phân loại không chính xác trong quá trình chăm sóc trước khi nhập viện, điều này có thể ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến kết quả điều trị của họ. Đánh giá hệ thống này nhằm mục đích đánh giá tỷ lệ thiếu phân loại ở bệnh nhân chấn thương cao tuổi trước khi nhập viện, độ chính xác của các tiêu chí phân loại và ảnh hưởng của quyết định phân loại trước khi nhập viện đến các kết quả điều trị.

Phương pháp

Một tìm kiếm tài liệu qua máy tính sử dụng các cơ sở dữ liệu MEDLINE, Scopus và CINHAL đã được thực hiện cho các nghiên cứu được công bố trong khoảng thời gian từ 1966 đến 2021, sử dụng danh sách các thuật ngữ chỉ mục đã xác định trước và các thay thế liên quan của chúng. Các nghiên cứu đáp ứng tiêu chí bao gồm đã được đưa vào và được đánh giá bằng công cụ Chương trình Đánh giá Kỹ năng Quan trọng. Do tính không đồng nhất của các nghiên cứu đã chọn, tổng hợp theo hướng kể chuyện đã được sử dụng trong đánh giá hệ thống này.
