Ý định sử dụng và trải nghiệm về y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc ở bệnh nhân ung thư vú giai đoạn đầu và muộn: một nghiên cứu định tính

Tại Đài Loan, bệnh nhân ung thư vú thường sử dụng đồng thời y học phương Tây và y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc. Việc sử dụng y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc giữa các bệnh nhân ung thư vú ở các giai đoạn khác nhau chưa được nghiên cứu. Nghiên cứu này nhằm so sánh ý định sử dụng và trải nghiệm đối với y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc giữa bệnh nhân ung thư vú ở giai đoạn đầu và giai đoạn muộn. Nghiên cứu định tính này thu thập dữ liệu từ bệnh nhân ung thư vú thông qua phỏng vấn theo nhóm bằng cách lấy mẫu thuận tiện. Nghiên cứu được tiến hành tại 2 chi nhánh của Bệnh viện Thành phố Đài Bắc, một bệnh viện công do chính quyền Thành phố Đài Bắc quản lý. Những bệnh nhân ung thư vú trên 20 tuổi và đã sử dụng y học cổ truyền để điều trị ung thư vú tối thiểu 3 tháng đã được đưa vào phỏng vấn. Một hướng dẫn phỏng vấn bán cấu trúc đã được áp dụng trong mỗi buổi phỏng vấn nhóm. Trong phân tích dữ liệu tiếp theo, giai đoạn I và II được coi là giai đoạn đầu, và giai đoạn III và IV là giai đoạn muộn. Để phân tích dữ liệu và báo cáo kết quả, chúng tôi đã sử dụng phân tích nội dung định tính làm phương pháp phân tích dữ liệu, với sự hỗ trợ của NVivo 12. Các danh mục và tiểu danh mục đã được xác định thông qua phân tích nội dung. Mười hai bệnh nhân ung thư vú giai đoạn đầu và bảy bệnh nhân giai đoạn muộn đã được đưa vào nghiên cứu này. Các tác dụng phụ là động lực chính của việc sử dụng y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc. Cải thiện các tác dụng phụ và thể trạng là lợi ích chính cho bệnh nhân ở cả hai giai đoạn. Ngoài ra, bệnh nhân ung thư vú giai đoạn đầu sử dụng y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc để ngăn ngừa tái phát hoặc di căn. Bệnh nhân ung thư vú giai đoạn muộn phản hồi thường xuyên hơn về việc sử dụng y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc do các tác dụng phụ của y học phương Tây. Tuy nhiên, một số triệu chứng của họ không được cải thiện hoàn toàn. Giai đoạn của ung thư vú có thể ảnh hưởng đến ý định và việc sử dụng y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc. Các nhà hoạch định chính sách y tế nên xem xét kết quả của nghiên cứu này và những minh họa dựa trên bằng chứng để thiết lập các hướng dẫn cho việc tích hợp y học cổ truyền Trung Quốc trong các giai đoạn khác nhau của ung thư vú nhằm cải thiện kết quả và chất lượng chăm sóc cho bệnh nhân ung thư.
