Sự tích hợp phản ứng toàn cầu về HIV/AIDS vào bảo hiểm y tế toàn cầu: mong muốn, có thể thực hiện, nhưng còn xa mới dễ dàng

Trọng tâm sức khỏe của cộng đồng quốc tế đang chuyển từ việc đạt được các mục tiêu bệnh tật cụ thể sang việc hướng tới bao phủ y tế phổ quát. Việc tích hợp phản ứng toàn cầu về HIV/AIDS vào bao phủ y tế toàn cầu có thể là không thể tránh khỏi để đảm bảo các thành tựu trong dài hạn, cũng như mở rộng các thành tựu này ra ngoài việc chỉ giải quyết một bệnh. Tuy nhiên, việc tích hợp này đang diễn ra trong bối cảnh hỗ trợ tài chính quốc tế cho phản ứng toàn cầu về HIV/AIDS đang giảm, trong khi sự hỗ trợ chính trị cho bao phủ y tế toàn cầu không được chuyển thành hỗ trợ tài chính.
