Mục đích của bài báo này là khám phá ảnh hưởng của sự gắn bó tôn giáo và cam kết tôn giáo đến ý định áp dụng dịch vụ ngân hàng di động Hồi giáo của thanh niên Đông Nam Á.
Một khảo sát trực tuyến tự quản đã được phân phối đến thanh niên Đông Nam Á thông qua phương pháp lấy mẫu thuận tiện và phương pháp tuyết lở, và tổng cộng đã thu được 135 phản hồi.
Nghiên cứu cho thấy dịch vụ ngân hàng di động Hồi giáo là một dịch vụ mới lạ, với mức độ nhận thức và trải nghiệm của người tiêu dùng rất ít, đặc biệt là ở những người không phải Hồi giáo. Sự gắn bó tôn giáo và cam kết tôn giáo đều là những chiến lược phân khúc hiệu quả, vì sự khác biệt trong ý định áp dụng đã được tìm thấy giữa người Hồi giáo và người không phải Hồi giáo, cũng như giữa người Hồi giáo nghiêm túc và người Hồi giáo có tâm linh thường xuyên. Tổng thể, người Hồi giáo nghiêm túc có xu hướng dựa vào tiêu chí xã hội để áp dụng, trong khi những người Hồi giáo có tâm linh thường xuyên và người không phải Hồi giáo lại dựa vào các thuộc tính thực dụng.
