Tóm tắt

Hydrogen absorption of single-walled carbon nanotubes synthesized by the HIPCO, laser ablation, and carbon-arc techniques are evaluated to determine the influence of their chemical and structural defect density on their effectiveness as the nanocontainers of hydrogen. The results indicate that although there was a difference in the defect concentration between the three different SWNT samples, these defects have little effect on their hydrogen storage capacity.
