Inflammasome NLRP3 là một thành phần quan trọng của hệ thống miễn dịch bẩm sinh, chịu trách nhiệm điều hòa sự kích hoạt caspase-1 và tiết ra các cytokine viêm pro-inflammatoriy IL-1β/IL-18 trong phản ứng với nhiễm trùng vi khuẩn và tổn thương tế bào.
