Abstract
The determination of film resistance (Rf) was investigated by means of the frequency at the maximum phase angle (fθmax), as obtained from electrochemical impedance measurements. fθmax was linearly correlated with Rf. The degradation of the coating film was obviously and rapidly evaluated from fθmax by comparison with Rf.
