Tóm tắt
In this paper we show the potential of using frequency tracks developed from separated sensors and from multiple harmonics as a basis for correlation between the received signals. Significant correlation is consistent with source commonality, the received signals having originated from the same source, but practical effectiveness will depend on false alarm rates, an issue not addressed. The source is assumed to consist of a sum of harmonics with random frequency modulation caused by time varying loads. We use two methods for determining the frequency tracks, one coherent and the other incoherent. We use three methods for correlation. One is based on delay and Doppler corrected correlations of frequency tracks from two sensors. The others correlate an estimated frequency trajectory from one sensor with the raw acoustic signal from the other sensor.
