Surface treatment of electrodes by intense flows of charged particles as the method for improvement of vacuum insulation
Tóm tắt
The paper presents the results of investigations of effect of surface treatment of electrodes with pulsed intensive electron and ion flows on electrical strength of vacuum insulation. Such a treatment has been shown to allow one to decrease the prebreakdown currents and to increase the breakdown electric fields. The mechanisms of this effect are analyzed in the paper.
